  • Once a referral is received it is reviewed and triaged by our staff. If a referral is marked as urgent we will be in contact with you to arrange an appointment. If you have not heard from us, please phone us to schedule a non-urgent appointment.

  • Urgent appointments are generally seen in 2-6 weeks and non urgent/routine appointments are seen in 6-12 months.

  • Sometimes we will be in contact with you about some preliminary tests prior to your appointment so that we have all the necessary information at the time of consultation.

  • We accept cash, eftpos or cheque and we can process a medicare rebate into your account on the day if you are registered with Medicare.

  • Dr Jackson offers both Telehealth and face-to-face consultations and Dr Thambar provides face-to-face consultations. 

  • For patients admitted to or who require procedures at Lake Macquarie Private Hospital, Newcastle Private Hospital, Gosford Private Hospital and Lingard Private hospital, all of our doctors participate in the 'no-gap billing scheme'.

What to bring to your appointment:

  • A letter or referral from your GP (including a current list of medications and your past medical history)

  • Your current medications (if not included on the referral)

  • Medicare card

  • Health fund membership details

  • Test results and reports which may be of help for your consultation
